Based on your suggestion I am doing this now. music

Great, so how it feels?

You were right. It was a beautiful summer evening with a bit of a breeze, clouds over the moon. So I sat outside with an adult beverage and blasted it. It was wonderful. music

I just don't get the love for this...I try...but just...Bleh...

It's a deep, hypnotic ballad you can only get into if you're set for the journey -- all ears and sitting there with your baby's head resting on your shoulder, preferably with some kind of drink.

I don't play Revelation casually when doing my taxes or dusting the place. Once I had it on and I can't remember a song of his that left me in such a state. It was as if I had exercised vigorously, went for an energetic massage session, showered then did the horizontal tango, then sat down with my honey and just enjoyed all the (natural) hormones flowing through my veins.

I agree. This is a song for listening not for background music.

Lol... Naw...nuthing'.

I'm not an anti ballad guy either...I like some of em. Adore tmbgitw, do me baby, call my name etc...

I think it may b bcuz it's like even extra slow...practically crawls along. It's so slow and sparse. At least I can see I have legit reasons and am not just saying I unno...I just don't like it. He was drawing out the tension...but he just drew it out too long for me and it snapped.

I just listened to HitnRun Phase two and was pleasantly surrprised by how enjoyable it is. It was more cohesive then I was led to belive given some previous threads, with it's wonderful jazzy arrangements throughout. The one thing that was missing was greatness. Then along came the Revelation track and a tear came to my eye. Yes, a new great song by Prince!!!!! Thanks!
