Do Fries Go with that Shake? Was Prince a fan of George's eighties tunes? This was one of my favorite George songs...did Prince like his output during this era?....and yes I know The Cinderella Theory was recorded in 89...and I love it..just wondering if P was feeling the 80s tunes... (besides his influence)

Prince used the "roof is on fire" chant (you know, that was later turned into a hit by The Bloodhound Gang) on stage during the Parade tour, so he certainly was listening.

Imma guess here (and we're all just speculating) that yes, he did dig 80s George. When Prince was a fan, he was a loyal fan. He has spoken about wanting everything James Brown ever recorded; and he has publicly championed lesser loved Stevie and Joni albums (Secret Life of Plants and Summer Lawns, respectively). Plus, R&B Skeletons is bumpin!! Can't imagine Prince NOT grooving to those tunes, even if everyone else ignored them. My 2 cents 🤓 Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths...(Jeremiah 6:16) www.ancientfaithradio.com
