Anyone else think the music is very un Prince ish? Especially the last 2-3 mins. I can't think of any other track where he sticks with the expected chord progressions for the genre, and the way he's saying Versace sounds dubbed together.

Maybe it didn't feel like his, which is why he didn't release it?

Seemed very jamm-y to me. I can't say that it did or did not sound like him, however, because he constantly reinvented himself and tried new things. Aside, and I say this with my tongue firmly planted in my cheek, I highly doubt he would lend his music to any event that had such a strong feature of socks with sandals.
