The Hits Collection DVD I just got it and I'm watching it now.Right now the Controversey video is on.1999 brought back sooo many memories and OMG he looked sooo hot in Diamonds and Pearls.SOTT sucked all kinds of ass though.Are there any other videos that he's not in? ~Stephanie~

This DVD sucks.
It's from the early days of the media and has no extras at all. Additionally, there are so many videos missing. I would love a complete video anthology like. Look at the latest Beastie Boys release. They know how to make a best of video DVD. | |

I was watching Rage (australian music program) one night and they played ALL of Prince's clips, from start to present (it aired in 1994) so it was an awsome 3 hours now that would make a great DVD but have everything from 1979 - 2003  | |

The man has countless months or years of unreleased video footage, and we get a short video compilation like this with no bonus features. I like having what's on there in DVD format but sheesh...thanks for nothing. Couldn't even include some rarities like I Wish U Heaven or America? Correction: This DVD REALLY sucks.
Funny. I was also thinking about I Wish U Heaven when I wrote these lines ... And America (LONG VERSION) would be great. I doubt that we will ever see such a complete DVD. Prince always puts his focus on new stuff. I could imagine that he also might regret some stuff he has done in the past (in particularly the explicit ones). And then there is the thing about "who owns the rights of his back catalog ..." | |
