You've probably seen them all over the internet, numerous photos of pages torn out from a spiral note-book, supposedly scribbled over with Prince's beautiful handwriting. I understand they have been up for auction in the past. How and when did that happen? I'm intrigued, can someone please enlighten me.

I would also like to gather in this thread the photos of Prince's handwritten lyrics as well as any hand-written notes... As and when we find them, if that's possible, so that we can see them all at a glance.

I am always skittish of looking up his lyrics anywhere except here on the Org because of that interview he did way back and was talking about how people had his lyrics wrong and gave When Doves Cry and Little Red Corvette he gave the example how they were quoted wrong

A page of Prince handwritten notes. Written on lined paper in pencil, they appear to be for production. Reads in part, "Male is seen in machine and screen beckons 2 females. A half-crescent moon ascends out over crowd She gets on then and rides back to machine...she writes letters - pleased 2 see Male socially conscious. He invites 2 a after party they just look at each other."
