Prince commemorative stamp coming 2 a post office near U

So, girls & boys...

Which country will B the 1st 2 put Princes' azz (eye mean face) on a postage stamp posthumous?

The key word here is "posthumous"...

Thanks for the misleading subject!

This post might be a joke, but it may become reality. Normally, the wait is 10 years after death. The USPS may change its rules in the future, so that wait could be lessened. Keep the faith - and write to the Postmaster General. A letterwriting campaign - a persistent one - can affect what stamps are produced.

The US Postal Service dropped the rule that required an individual to have been deceased at least five years (previously ten years) before being honored on a stamp. Under the new guidelines, living or recently deceased individuals will be eligible for commemoration on postage stamps.

Maybe it would have been better received if a suggestion was made to see who would be interested in participating in having a stamp issued.

Here is a link that tells how to begin the process. It's probably better to submit one proposal with signatures than to write multiple letters and get the committee ticked of at us.
