Prince tix to "The Tonight Show" 12/13/02 - anyone else here attend taping? I searched for this topic but couldn't find it posted anywhere...I was wondering how many orgers won tickets to attend the taping of Prince performing "The Everlasting Now" on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on 12/13/02. If my memory serves me correctly, NPG Music Club members were selected randomly and contacted via email with the offer to attend...but my memory is a bit fuzzy. I do know that I was EXTREMELY surprised and thrilled to be among those selected because I usually have the worst luck!
Amazing performance (he was looking sharp and was on point as ever and the band was tight)...and I remember the energy kicking up even more when Sheila E. took to the stage with the band. I also recall the band leading the audience in singing "Happy Birthday" to her (just a day late, but very sweet) after the performance.
Anyone else attend this (of course I saved my ticket
