What I respect about prince the most I think one thing I respect about prince is that he truly didn't Believe in building walls around his talent , he didn't think or they going think iam weird or strange so iam not going do that, of course he wanted people to like what he did but, not to the point of holding himself back, and I must say it work out pretty well for him don't you think so thank you prince for rocking to your own guitar!

I definitely agree, and he was unique. We all have our quirks and differences. I loved that about him. And he was a great guitar player. Erin Smith

Yup. He talked a lot about society needing to let everyone be themselves and not judging. He felt really strongly about this.

Totally agree - didn't let what others might think hold him back. He did it his way. Whether you agreed with his way 100% or not, it was still admirable that he was courageous enough to do so. I listened to this song (the Sinatra version) several times a couple weeks ago; made me feel better. All the lyrics are apt, but here's just the start: And now, the end is near And so I face the final curtain My friend, I'll say it clear I'll state my case, of which I'm certain I've lived a life that's full I traveled each and every highway And more, much more than this, I did it my way
