Prince and JFK Jr.'s Wedding

Did Prince actually attend and play "Forever In My Life" or was it just a track that was played? If so, does anyone know any links to any photos or footage of him playing? The articles that I have found said that the couple did their first dance to the song, but it doesn't actually say that he played it live. However, Oprah alluded to the fact that he played it live at the wedding when she interviewed him in '96. I've never heard of him attending someone else's wedding, much less playing for one...so I'm not sure how to interpret...

I could be wrong but I think that JFK Jr. and Carolyn just danced to the track.

Prince was not at the wedding. The wedding was at some little shack in the woods by candlelight. Their first dance wsa "Forever In My Life". Prince was not there to play it. They used a cassette purchased at a local 5 and Dime shop in Harlem.

That last sentence might be bullshit, but the rest is true.

I thought it was just played on a record player or cassette player - he did not perform live. I remember being surprised - I don't know why - when the song selection was announced.

....even premiering Shades Of Umber.

Prince is a musician not a lifestyle.
