See That Muthafukka With Tattoos...

In The Ultimate Beautiful Experience audio Prince invited a guy up on stage to play guitar. He says "We're in E, man.", then the band stops on the 1, and the guy tries to play. Prince, it seems, had his guitar turned off so the guy couldn't do anything. The guy says "Come on man, where's the shit?" Prince giggles and starts the band again. Then he proceeds to play it, and says something like "Just wanted to be sure it works."

I think it was during "What'd I Say?" or "Peep The Technique" - one of the songs near the end of the show.

It's a funny moment. Anyone ever hear from that guy after, or know who he was? I'd love to hear his side of the story.

For those that don't know, The Ultimate Beautiful Experience is a soundboard bootleg of the show whose performances were inter-dispersed in The Beautiful Experience special with Nona Gaye.

berlinas2k	My favorite part of that exchange is after P says "I just wanted to make sure it works", it sounds like Morris cackling off mic somewhere. That whole show is a really fun listen.

This is also on a boot called Welcome 2 the Beautiful Experience - it's during What'd I Say. I always thought it sounded a little planned to me, but that's just my opinion. Still very fun.
