OKAY glad it's not just me. Apparently I am an attentive viewer when it comes to Prince.

It's super distracting in the most endearing way. You're going to be like, wait is that it again, did I just...oh yep there it is.

Hope some other people will appreciate your effort as much as I do (thank you soo much again!) and chime in here if they noticed this peekaboo dimple before...and if not...

It's during "Empty room" Montreux 2009.

If you watch the full show you will see that before singing it he had a large ring on his forefinger, and when he sang "Empty room" he didn't have it anymore. On youtube the quality is not good enough, but if you can watch it by another way, there are 1 or 2 focus on his hand while guitar solo, and you can see the little scratch and the blood drop pouring of it.

There is currently are REALLY clear version on youtube right now, I clipconvertered it, subscriber Jaana Toom has it and many other great Prince shows, more Jazz ones too and pretty great quality.

And despite all that, I was completely distracted by a peekabo dimple in that performance. The first time I noticed it it was all I could see. Have watched it a couple times now and the performance is off the charts amazing. Now I'm going to have to watch it again to notice that.

Um, I have just rewatched this and either I was blinded by the dimple or I missed the licking... maybe I should watch it again

Thanks for the info! I hadn't really noticed the dimple ,maybe 'cause since the first time i've watched this show i've been quite "obsessed" by the lick . I really love this show, and the version of Empty Room is my favorite.
