Alan Leeds' Explanation for Being Redacted From Prince's Appreciation List Today, a very interesting list was posted on the Facebook page of Morris Day and The Time. Therein, Prince wrote the following:
He lists over 80 people. The most glaring thing, however, was the one name that he scratched through: Alan Leeds.
Leeds added the following comment to the post:
In a subsequent post, Leeds jokingly added:
Maybe Morris crossed me off, LOL
What if anything should we read into Prince's redaction of Leeds' name? Thoughts?

No date is listed. That bit of information would be helpful. This might be one clue. Rapper and actress Eve is included on the list. We do know that she was featured on Prince's 1999 album "Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic." So, it was probably after that time. | |
