I have the Mpls Star Tribune daily paper for each day of the first week following his death. I quit saving them after that. I have an extra copy of two of those daily papers from that week if someone wants the extra copy I would part with it. They did do a great job with coverage. I should have saved more of them.

Nope, nor have I purchased any of the tribute magazines. They're all going to say the same thing(s), and I've heard it a hundred times already. I also don't want a pile of poor memorials for the greatest musician and songwriter we've ever seen. He lives 57 years, and provided endless music. I will celebrate that, not his death.

It's a bit like brides worrying about detaisl of the wedding, and ignoring the marriage.

I can mail it to you if you want an actual copy? I don't think I could ever toss it, but I don't want to hang on to it forever, either.

If you want to PM your address I will send you my extra copy of that paper. It was jarring seeing the large headline on the front page about his passing even tho I already knew about it the day before. I had to work that day and the first thing I do is unlock the front door and pick the paper up off the ground to bring inside. I literally burst into tears and spent the first several min of my work day in the bathroom trying to compose myself.

The day after it happened I was looking for what the papers said and guess what, two guys were handing out free newspapers as part of a promotion campaign. I didn't sign up, but yeah, I have two newspapers (in Dutch) that feature the news of his death and some short essays and of course I kept them.

Nope. Haven't even read any nor magazines. Just online. Matter of fact, I hate seeing Prince's face at the check out register. Feels like it doesn't belong there. Feels cheap, his life going for the price of a magazine. confused confused

Adorecream

All the articles from our two - The New Zealand Herald and Sunday Star Times, both were complimentary, although later articles went on about drugs, relatives and other gossip.

Also have the Malaysian star as well which is more low key.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name
