Some songs I need to be in a specific mood to hear (and some I haven't been able to bring myself to listen to since his passing) but I will ALWAYS listen to "She's Always In My Hair." Anytime it comes on. In fact, I usually listen to it 2 or 3 times in a row when it comes up on iTunes.

There are just too many songs to count. But since I'm stuck waiting on a delayed flight out of Chicago, here goes: She's Always In My Hair - live versions with 3rdEyeGirl/the extended version on Ultimate. The lyrics and guitar work have always kept this as one of my favorite songs ever. The Morning After - I love the playful lyrics and instrumentation so much. I have it on Lotusflower as a bonus track. When You Were Mine - Classic Prince. Sensitive and punk at the same time. Little Red Corvette - between the Extended Dance Mix and the arrangement he took around with 3rdEyeGirl, there's always a version I'm willing to listen to with my headphones really loud. Something in the Water (Does Not Compute) - Especially the 3rdEyeGirl rehearsal. Look at Me, Look at U - I really love HITNRUN Phase II. I have a lot of memories of playing the album when my girlfriend was staying with my family for Christmas and this song continued to get a lot of play when I would be driving to school in the morning or walking to my car late at night. Empty Room live in Switzerland 2011 so glad I listened to this nearly non-stop over the past few weeks because the whole version has now GONE and now there is only a shorter footage available to view, which does not convey the incredible atmosphere, the powerful vocals build up and the chilling guitar at the beginning. I especially like the live version he did on Lopez Tonight with the pretty ballerina. Maybe it's just my imagination, but when he gets on the piano he seems to be moving a bit...gingerly? I dunno. Could be just me. I noticed that because I always check out his heels and was surprised that he was wearing a platform sparkly gold sneaker. I remember thinking, "Hmmm. Interesting."
