I am still in denial here....my mind is splitting off like he (and my sister) is still here in the physical. I believe it's going to take me at least a decade before I will accept it.
or at least a few more years
My daughter has been gone 12 years next month and it still feels like yesterday, this pain won't go away any time soon. admission is easy, just say U believe, then come 2 this place in your heart. |

I know the pain...My loved ones passed years ago and it still hurts to this day. I try to not dwell on his death, but daily it creeps up on me that he is gone. |

Does anyone know where the information posted on this thread comes from? I have not seen any public articles that get into this much detail. |

If you two lived in LA, I would say let's go out for a drink and a good cry.....it isn't easy getting "older" because of all the 'see you laters' we have to endure before it's time for our jumping off. The good thing is that time is going by so fast, it won't be long until we're on the other side and then he ain't safe from us!!! Need me some fuzzy love....and yes, I wear clear heels |

Hopefully it was a taxi/uber/lift.
It's also possible he rode his bicycle home. It's only about 20 miles.
What I want to know is who hotboxed him at the Dakota. |

The pooling of blood is called Lividity. That happens when circulation ceases and the blood inside the body starts to gather in the body that is closest to the "ground" or in direct reflection of gravity...so if he died in on his back, his back, back of legs, etc - whatever part of the body was in contact with the ground would be discolored because the blood has settled.
The discoloration usually starts to happen within 30 minutes but fixed lividity occurs usually 6 hours plus after circulation stops.
Thank you so much for the explanation. Not medically inclined Welcome home class. We've come a long way. - RIP Prince |

Other reports said "at least six hours"....which meant rigor mortis was already setting in.
That is likely why they knew *immediately* that he was gone.

exactly, perhaps even purge started....I wonder what time his chef left that night? I thought I read a story that Prince told him to leave the dinner in the refrigerator and go home. It is relevant who dropped him off because that person may have procured meds (script or not), or witnessed the admin of them, perhaps as an "aspirin" or a lozenge for his sore throat, etc. I am sure there are cameras everywhere, probably covert cameras, I think this investigation will go on for at least six months or longer. I refuse to believe that there was not at least one person that did know the reality of what was going on, but to their credit and Prince's (and our) eventual detriment loyal, at least until the shit hits the fan. Need me some fuzzy love....and yes, I wear clear heels |
