Order Of Your Prince Collection Question . I'm assuming you place your Prince records in chronological order. "Art Official Age" and "Plectrum Electrum" were released on the same day. Which do you place first in your Prince collection and why? . There is a correct answer, by the way. | |

Plectrum Electrum first because the 3rdEyeGirl project - and that album - was in gestation for over a year before the album came out, and seems to be the album he intended to put out, with Art Official Age coming together once he got to know Josh.... also Hit N Run Phase One is a natural follow on to Art Official Age, with its artwork and remixes/musical links... |

If I place them by release/year it really wouldn't make any difference which album is on top or bottom  But If you want an answer I'd go with prince first. Why? : because prince comes first  I will take my place, In the great below | |

I have all of mine in chronological order, and Plectrumelectrum comes before Art Official Age. You can tell because of the catalogue numbers printed on them (545610-2 for Plectrumelectrum and 545612-2 for Art Official Age). Lurking since '07 | |

. Wow, didn't even note the catalgue numbers. That settles it then. . I simply keep "Age" second because as pointed out above, the art work flows naturally right into the "Phase" albums. | |
