...Those Live Shows though! There are so many live P performances online now that are still up, and I can't stop watching them (getting my fill before they take them down again). It seems to me that every single one I've watched is just fantastic. Has anyone ever been to or seen a performance where the man wasn't ON FIRE? I find him to be flawless in almost every performance... How'm I gonna fill this empty room...

Pretty much. He seemed a bit off on Lopez Tonight, but that's the only example that stands out. Dude was untouchable.

I was at the infamous Cologne concert in 2011 and it was a disaster but he still handled it pretty well. He could´ve easily won the crowd if he´d made up for what happened by playing just a little bit longer, giving an encore or two so that the people wouldn´t have felt cheated but I think it was only bad according to his own high standards. If this had been a show by any other artist people wouldn´t have had such high expectations. - Speaking of live shows....some of the more recent live footage is so great that I wish he had stopped dancing much earlier and focused more on the music and the slower, more gentle moves he did at the later stage of his career. There´s one performance of him doing When We´re Dancing Close and Slow with Andy Allo (I won´t say when and where for obvious reasons), and it is one of his most magical moments I´ve seen of him in a long time. The slow moves, the way he´s changed the tune so drastically, the lights...just magic -. I´d rather have seen him do more of that instead of big shows with lots of gimmicks and dancing. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

The One and Only. Bet those who went to as many shows as they could, (often ridiculed for it) are so thankful they did. We all knew he'd leave us for the afterworld one day... Never thinking for one moment that we'd lose him so soon. Simply the Best.

I have...well sorta. I think it was sometime in 1997 and he was at the DTE Music Center just north of Detroit and after sitting through about 30 mins of LG I was more than ready for Prince to just knock my socks off when he came out and he did for about 20 minutes, then he started doing something with this backdrop that didn't seem to be cooperating and suddenly he left the stage., without saying a word. The band kept playing for about 5 minutes and then slowly they started leaving. The audience thought it was some type wardrobe run or something, so we sat, talking and patientily waiting. Suddenly the house lights came and a crew came out and started breaking down the set. Somebody came out and said, "goodnight" on his behalf and that was it. We left [Edited 6/9/16 20:54pm] I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.
