He looks like a combo of his mom & dad...

I honestly thought when i saw the movie Purple Rain (as a teen) that his parents were like the people in the movie, 1 white and 1 black...i didn't know better until over the years realizing (and reading) it was actually Vanity's parents that were of that combination..her mom was polish/german/jewish and father black/hawaiian i didn't know anything about how the movie was made or written or who was involved in putting it together..but yes i thought he was a combo of many other things...the way Vanity was AND he called her Vanity bcuz he said once, looking at her was like looking at the female version of himself....and yes, they did look a lot alike!

He and Tyka look pretty similar. around the eyes, and kind of with the smile.

He definitely looks like his mother. There's a photo of her as a little girl floating around and the resemblance is strong. Her face is fuller in that one widely circulated pic where she is older and Prince was so thin they look less alike, but he did very much look like his parents.

I read on Wiki that all 4 of his grandparents were from Lousiana, so yes there could be other mixes/races in his background, definitely! Beyonce's family (her moms side) are from Louisiana as well, which is why she put in that commercial she did for Revlon years ago that she is...

The last 2 are from her mom 's side i believe.

eye think Tyka and he look alike. They have the same smile and teeth. They also share the light skin color and eyes. eye bet if she were thin the resemblence would be even greater. ( no offense Tyka, 2 your size).

eye also so some resemblence 2 his dad...same body mannerisms, they way they held thier heads 4 example. They weree also both vain as hell. lol

It's funny y'all keep talking about him getting his complexion from his mom... because his mom & dad look damn near the same color... but wtf do I know...

Yup. It's almost like looking at Prince as a kid, only with long hair.

I'm not sure, but he had eyes that hypnotized !

His mother is said to have had Cherokee blood as well, I can see that in Prince at times.

Prince's family is creole from Louisiana... he looks like his dad physically but has his mothers complexion.. tyka looks like his mother... I've seen pics of mattie and her twin sister edna with their parents...and they look Creole. So that story about the mother not knowing who her father is...is a story unless she was a jacket (the man who was put as their dad isn't their real dad) but it doesn't seem so from what I've picked up

Prince's mom's family is Creole. Everybody in her family was not Creole and his dad wasn't either.

I first saw it a while back on a thread about his cousin (daughter of Prince's mother's twin sister, the little girl at right in this picture), which showed a bunch of family pics.

Mom...and the older he got he started to look like his dad.
