The MUSIC!! The MAN himself said that what he wanted to be remembered for was the music. So with that in mind what is you favorite....
Album? Song? Live performance? Video? Song written by, but performed by another artist?
For me-
1999 D.M.S.R- makes me wanna dance! Benefit Concert 8/3/83 or Montreux '09 Show 2 When Eye Lay My Hands on U Kiss- first video I remember watching of his Manic Monday- my sister had this album and I remember listening to this and Walk Like an Egyptian
Years from now the music is all that will matter. When I listen to Lennon, Morrison, Jimi, Tupac or any of the other great artist who have passed I don't think of how or why they died. I am just happy and grateful for the music. Prince left us so much to remember him by and for that I say: Thank you, Prince!
