When did the he has a scar thing pop up, did it start with a picture?

Ive never seen a pic of his scar...but them saying he has a scar means nothing. u need more to actually say it is from hip surgery.

Good lord, can we stop with these threads. Stop speculating, you will never get an answer. If they ever give a concrete answer to your question ninety percent of the people here won't believe it anyway. Prince died from an overdose, period. Thats all we know. Thats all we will ever know. If more details from the autopsy report get out, there is going to be a shit storm of senseless speculation going on here. Let the man rest.

Never heard of the scraping thing, I also read or heard somewhere that with hip replacement you become very dependent on others for awhile , I can see prince not liking that at all

It's called, in layman's terms, a hip scope. I have a nurse friend, who is excellent in his field, that explained hip scopes, etc. I just noted it on another thread. It could explain why there was only one scar on his hip, not two. (You can do a bilateral hip replacement with only one incision, but the hip scope would take an incision on either hip.) He also explains why some people with religious reservations opt for the hip scope rather than the hip replacement. Yet Prince's one scar on the hip lends to one of two possible (not solid proof) procedures - either he had a hip scope on one side only, or he had bilateral hip replacement (ie both hips). I suppose this is all as important as it's not imporant. I sorta hope the full autopsy comes out sooner than later, just to put to rest all of this technical stuff. Yet the other side of me is always curious about things like this. I even read over MJ's autopsy, just out of curiosity, not anything morbid.
