Okay admit it... Prince memorabilia Many of you on this board have Prince memorabilia of some kind hanging on your walls. Time to 'fess up no matter how old you are. I resisted the urge to get too crazy but I do have a big wooden symbol and a framed Purple Rain album. But these two are what get the comments... . A great big Wecome 2 America tour poster framed in purple
,
A Planet Earth light box poster from a long gone wrecka stowe .
What Prince-related iems are hanging on your walls or sitting on your shelves? [Edited 6/6/16 18:38pm] "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

A Symbol G Pick framed in white with same purple background. My Symbol tambourine. And still working on a few other things. And also a photo (sent to fams) of P sitting on his speaker. My few pieces of memorabilia are packed away. I need to retrieve them but something new will be displayed one day soon. Trying to work through my grief with a canvas I'm painting.

Growing up I had two massive P posters on my wall. One double sided one from the Musicoogy tour and another from the PR era. The PR era one was more of a huge thick picture, not a poster. They are both framed. I have a ton of music but I would keep all my P cds and associated artists seperate along with his movies/ music dvds and the 21nights book. They look like this: I took them down when I moved last year. Glad I did because they'd be hard to look at right now. I actually took them down because of him. He was so adamant to be your own inspiration and to be your own artist, so I took them down and started to focus on who I was as an artist. I still have them. When I have my own place, they will have a special room <3

I only have one of the posters printed up for a Filmore concert in SF on Valentines Day, 2004. I thought it was quite nice so had it sucked down on posterboard and had a frame made for it. I also have the Celebration VIP passes pinned to my deck wall at home. Next up is buying a cloud guitar that I will display on my wall. [Edited 6/6/16 20:33pm]

I have The Hits promo poster hanging up. I also framed the back of the Graffiti Bridge era t-shirt that has his albums titles in the shape of his old symbol. And finally I have mini symbol and cloud guitars on display right on top of a display case that includes a few collectible CDs, my Celebration VIP pass, and the reel-to-reel tape of 'Purple Rain' from Minneapols station KDWB.

I'm only 19 so i'm too poor to have the collection that others have, but I have my own Prince Shelf (my prince vault I call it). It contains almost every CD album he's released under his name, a few dozen records of him, my concert tickets, tour programme, some of his concert films and some magazines and news papers with Prince articles.

I've got a custom painting that I absolutely adore, some of you saw it on the pic thread. I also have the GB and PR movie posters framed. PR album framed, and a photo my aunt took of P during the PR tour. She blew it up and had it framed for me as a gift. Really cool to have a pic she actually took that no one else has. From now on, 4 U I shall be wild đź’ś

Nothing on my wall. I don't like photos of persons on my walls for some reason. But I have this as my phone lock screen.
Before that I had a picture of Prince, but it got too hard to focus on what I needed my phone for.. He he.. This picture is rather sad, yet beautiful. And I don't come across as a crazy fan girl to anyone seeing it. At 51, I'm a little past that. LOL I have considered putting this up somewhere actually as that piano is just so beautiful. And it holds a strong message with the man playing it missing. To me it's as strong a message as when a pilot is remembered with one plane breaking out of the group and flying skywards. That also gets me everytime. [Edited 6/7/16 5:48am]

Nice selection guitarhero! Framed posters are great. Can't wait to get some artwork myself. Haven't got anything with Prince on my walls at the moment, though I used to when I was a teenager. Life Matters

Guys, I've been having this idea about a centralized market place for music memorabilia and concert ticket re-sale where new memorabilia (and psychical releases) could be bought via direct transaction with the artists and older memorabilia could either be auctioned off to other fans with a system of verification and accountability in place or sold back to the artists. With that there'd be a system for the company to keep track of who has what piece of memorabilia and about how much memorabilia exists for each artist so things are less easily lost or forgotten about, it'd also provide a means for artists to more easily keep track of and attempt to enforce control over their likenesses. It'd also provide artists with a new and more organized way of making a profit from their brand online. The concert ticket aspect is more of a measure for regulating ticket scalping (or at least neutralizing the effects of it) via competition in the market and I won't go into the details of that now.
Would the Purple Army be on board with such a platform? [Edited 6/7/16 13:50pm] [Edited 6/7/16 13:51pm]
