Well, at least he isn't pushing a book, or promoting a 12 step plan, or something. The photo of him they chose was a tad too cheery though.

That title is so misleading for the article. Total propoganda for the doc's son and as mentioned, CYA. Just like the lawyer's press conference.

I am not saying the doc's son did anything wrong in regards to administering drugs or caused the death of Prince.
I am concerned that he was in possession of the drugs and he was not licensed to have them or transport them. For that, in my opinion, he should face some charges for that.

For having compassion ?!? For wanting to help someone?!? I am barely able to restrain myself from saying what I really want to say to you..... Good article by Andrew Kornfeld, but he better talk to his attorney BEFORE he wants to do something like this again. RIP Prince. We will NEVER forget you. Thank you so much.

To Andrew Kornfeld - Let me just get this straight - you are described as a pre-med student - but you haven't even applied for med school. That means you are just a student. You ONLY have a B.A, B.S. - basic education. Your father, very unprofessionally, sent you to sell a product to a celebrity - and it's called a "life saving mission"? If that were true, you would have been there weeks, months, years earlier. Then you have the audacity to write for CNN using, taking advantage of the tragic death of one of - if not the finest musicians of all time - to sell your father's accomplishments and make it sound like you did all you could and that the reader should feel sorry for you. This I cannot do. I feel that what you did was the act of a selfish vulture and possibly illegal since you were in the possession of drugs you had no authority to have. This is not a proud moment for you and the negative publicity and tarnished reputation may have cemented a very limited number of career choices for you in the future. Just my opinion. . Andrew Kornfeld. . I think you might be getting him confused with Andrew Wakefield, who's the anti-MMR vaccine guy. .

Thank you - yes, I meant Kornfeld - my brain has been kind of mushy the last few days.

I don't think he needs to be brought up on charges...he was only trying to help Prince when his staff was incapable of doing so. But with that being said...dude needs to shut up! Cuz if he talks some more or writes a book or some shit trynna cash in on Prince we gonna have a problem.

Anyone read the Hollywood Life article that talks about camera footage and that Prince deliberately sent his body guards home...? Don't know if the source is reliable, however certain things seem plausible to me. Read it for yourselves. ...i just think that it is telling that no guards where there, meven after his OD the week prior and a great deal of 911 calls months leading up to April 21. ...among numerous other clues.

Compassion is not the issue. If I have unprescribed drugs on my person and the police find them on me, I will be charged. This man should not be any different. That is the only reason for my comments.
I am grateful that they tried to help.

Why is this guy talking to the press? Was he investigated by police? This all seems very strange.

His attorney held a press conference less than a week later saying that he should be immune from prosecution due to Minnesota's Good Samaritan law.

he just needs to stop talking

Something about this article just rubs me the wrong way, why is this guy even talking about Prince at all? And the way he inserts his father's and his own history into the story actually kinda disgusted me and seemed calculated somehow. I don't care to know about his 'wonderful' childhood and his 'amazing' father, I don't care at all. Also, I bet this "kid" knows nothing about Prince and his music, nothing at all... I don't want him discussing our man at all, he doesn't speak for Prince.
