saw this post from Jill Jones over the wknd and it sums up a lot of how Im feeling now that the cause is official. Yes i wish things hadnt gone down that way and yes I hope if there is ANY foul play that it will be dealt with justly, but the answers are out as of now. What good does it do any of us to know more? And even if we "knew" would we believe it? ive seen people on this forum question how he could move about if xyz was wrong or if he'd xyz procedure. Do ya'll understand that ALL of Muhammad Ali's organs failed but his HEART KEPT BEATING for half an hour? Thats not suppose to happen. that doesnt happen. but ali was no average man, and either was our Prince "Your questions only lead to more questions and most of you are not satisfied with the answers. Worry about the energies leaving the planet and compare it with the energy that is left on this planet Make sure YOU WATER THE FLOWERS THESE AMAZING PEOPLE LEFT BEHIND. Become better humans. Plant seeds that grow, become a flower, nurture one another. The more people continue to identify the deceased in their physical bodies we continue to limit the experience of what was contributed to our lives. We therefore limit our experience and create fear, insecurity and succumb to our own out of control minds. Transition and transcendence is a journey that we each will make. And faith in a higher power must be surrendered to the reality that we may not have all of the answers to the questions. But we still must continue to walk by faith and not by sight. SO go out today and plant some flowers and help them to to blossom and grow." "Where you are now is in a place that does not require time." - Rest In Power, PRINCE

Medical technology is pretty amazing these days, compared to even 20 years ago. More and more procedures are less invasive (not all, obviously).
-- What the fuck difference does it make what sort of hip procedure he had!!! He had a fucking procedure concerning his lower legs and it is just a weird coincidence that rumors go back 10 years concerning his hips. I kind of hope his family never puts out any information about his health issues nobody should have to prove that he was in pain to pacify noisy fans and social media vultures. I think it's not about knowing the truth. I think it's more to do with trying to block lies. Maybe we don't have a right to know but I think we have a right to "care" about falsehoods being stated.

That article mentions the elevator, and the jarring imagery it brings to her now. Never been to PP, but I always assumed it had more than one elevator. Was it ever revealed which elevator he was found in, and which part of the bldg that would have been? Not that it matters to me, but moreso how does she know which elevator it was (unless there was only one)?

It's not about knowing the truth for me. It just jars when people go to the press and pretend they know what was going on. As far as I know, hip replacements need a large scar down the thigh or a scar at the front of the thigh and a small one at the back for each hip replaced.
I checked out the hip scar I thought I had seen though and it wasn't one as it was on the wrong hip.

No one can block any lies without knowing a truth. The facts as they are known thus far have been released. If people really want to go for the Prince as junkie narrative then they are going to do that regardless, we've seen it happen with numerous public figures. It's really out of our hands at this point and frankly it was never in our hands to bebgin with. All the facts in the world could be released but for some it would not be enough. You know what? I just don't want to see all of Prince's personal info thrown out there like how we learned all kinds of unecessary shit about MJ when it was all said and done. Prince didnt live like that. We didnt have certain info then, we dont NEED it now. None of us here can do more for Prince's legacy than he did. The music is free now, so to speak, and as long as his estate makes good choices (or is able to make good choices, P left then in a bit of a bind) then i will personally be content. It was a decent article in some ways -- but addiction and dependence are rooted in denial and self-reliance, not the emotions she stated (which were a little harsh). The denial is denial of consequences. The self-reliance is that we can do it alone. There was also a good measure of fear there perhaps -- of what others might think or of being in a facility where people could see this very private man not at his best. It must've been scary for him. However Prince was reaching out for help. And I may never know or understand why this happened.

All I was saying that people here think they know princen have probably spent many a yr defending him. I don't think in death that will change. But yeh your right. In real terms we're just pissing in the wind

On the Tom Joyner Show today, Billy Sparks says Prince had surgery, but not a full hip replacement.
