I like all his videos one way or another. But two come to mind as personal favorites: . "1999" - This is the song that grabbed my attention and made me a fan. That glittery purple trenchoat, the guyliner, the dancing black guitarists, the pink and orange neon hearts at the beginning. Lisa. Jill. Dez. Matt. Mark. Prince. I was 12 when this video came out and it was simply magical. . "Insatiable" - A superbly stylized visual piece accompanying one of the baddest love ballads in existence. Love the use of shadow and light, the beauty of the visuals and Prince getting draped in strings of pearls, the colors and that twirl he does at the end with the white coat, he bows... Just a beautiful, professional, stylistic work of visual art that draws from the essence of the song, and has held up very nicely over time. | |
