I did have a Prince dream. It was something that he could have written about lol

I've actually only had one dream about Prince.

It was that he recorded with Jack White.

It's funny because I wished for him to appear to me in a dream for so long. I finally had one about 2 weeks ago and it was not what I expected. It actually made me feel worse. There's been a lot of random shootings lately where I grew up (I don't live there anymore but I do visit every weekend). My dream was that I was walking along the street with a friend, saw P and it seemed as if we had met before. I tried to warn him that the area was unsafe as gun shots started to pop off. He refused to listen to me and would not move. I was so much more concerned for him than my own safety, it was like he didn't even care. I finally convinced him to agree to leave the area and that's when I woke up. Don't know what it means but it made me feel very uneasy. Not the dream I was expecting.

I think it was inspired by rewatching the 'The Ladder' rehearsal / end credits from 'the Prince of Paisley park' BBC DOcumnetary recently (and reading other interviews) where we see him playing guitar and keys at the same time. In my dream, he was playing guitar with his hands while bashing out beats on a font of stage Sheila-style percussion kit with his feet. Somtimes neither his hands nor feet were on the ground, as he balanced between drums and microphone stand.

For real, especially lately with so many fans coming back or signing up. I can never talk to anyone about my Prince dreams. They think I'm crazy. I used to have one or two every year. And they usually were brief encounters but I remember feeling star struck and speechless every time and waking up that way too.

I once dreamed that my best friend and I were invited back stage at a concert and he and Ricky Marton made us dance for them but we were both so intimidated by their superior dance moves.

I used to dream about Prince a lot. Loved him so much! The last time was the morning of his death. I don't remember the dream but I woke up right around 2:30 CST with tears streaming down my cheeks and I was terrified! It was one of those dreams that makes you afraid to go back to sleep. I couldn't and didn't. Not say'in I'm psychic or anything, but it wouldn't surprise me if the TOD were determined to be around 2:30 AM.

Now the most interesting thing that happened to me was not in a dream. It was a few days after he passed, I was in the bathroom about to take a shower when I feel this very loving and calming presence there with me and an image of Paisley Park and flowers appeared in my mind. I also got this nagging feeling in my subconcious telling me Prince was there with me.

Call bs on it if you want, I know what I felt. I cried when I felt that but I also felt secure after it.

Ever have a dream where the character's presence is very strong, but the actual image of the person is never seen? Since his death, I've had one of those. Before Prince died, I only had one dream of him and that was about ten years ago. It was romantic, but not sexual. As a guy, he was my first man-crush back in the day and he really pushed my idea of sexual identity, presentation, and attraction (especially with the 1999 lp full length and singles inserts ). Game. Over.

I've had lots of Prince dreams, before & after he died. We're always a very loving couple. Don't remember much more than that...

I have had two. One only featured me with the symbol tattoo, then another one was about me living in a fictional country under strict dictatorship (think DPRK style) where there were curfews for single women under 25 years (and if you really wanted to go out, you needed to have a guardian with you). For some odd reason, I and other BDSM positive people from the country (P was among them ) were sent to a conference abroad to attend a conference on kinks and related subcultures, in order to promote our country as progressive and open minded. P was cool, sexy and spontaneous

i woke that day around what would be 3am minneapolis time. around an hour later i started crying a very frustrated cry, wondering why. it's the only time i ever recall crying in the morning.

Yes! I've only ever had one Prince dream. The Sunday after he died, I was inconsolable and begging God to tell me that Prince was with Him. In my dream that night, somebody was with me. I don't know who. But I will never, ever forget the feeling of love and of peace that I had in that moment. I don't know that I could have imagined that on my own. I don't know. Maybe somebody was letting me know he was safe. Maybe not.

Take it for what it is. Many years ago, I lost a child. He lived for just over a day. A few years later, I was pregnant again and I suppose maybe I had been subconsciously thinking about him. I lied down to take a nap, I don't remember falling asleep...but he was there by the side of the bed about the age he would have been. He looked at me and said "don't worry mom, I'm ok". My eyes opened and I felt the most incredible sense of peace and it felt so real. Those kinds of experiences, I don't question. The ones that flood you with a sence of peace. They are real.

I am only posting this dream I had night before last because it is still haunting me and it was so weird! First a little back story about me. I grew up with musician parents. My dad was a preacher but he often was invited to area churches and so forth around my home state to sing and play his guitar. He also wrote his own songs. My mom could play piano but they never wanted to do anything professional with it. I grew up my whole life singing in church with my dad when I was old enough and often sang along to backing tracks. I wanted to be a professional singer but about 10 yrs ago I met some musicians and writers around Nashville and through that experience learned I did not like the politics of the industry, so I got started spreading the word for artists that I enjoy who do want to go through all the chaos it takes to be a star.

Now my dream from about 2 nights ago was one that Prince came to me and told me he wanted me to write down a song for an upcoming 4th of July show.I reminded him he passed on in April so there would be no July 4th show because dead people can't perform. I told him to leave me alone. I said I don't believe in communicating with dead people. He said, Our bodies, die but not our souls! I said well are you aware that I don't write songs or even sing anymore? I don't even know how to play any instruments. I told him he was barking up the wrong tree to come to me. The whole time I was giving him hell for trying to pressure me into something that is impossible, the more he insisted that all I had to do was write the words down and he would do the rest. I told him "dead people can't play music!" We went round and round for what seems like hours in the dream with him telling me he wanted me to write down this song that he wanted written down. So I realize that arguring with him was not going to make him leave. I grab a pen and we wrote a full page but I woke up from my dream because I needed to use the facilities and now for the last 24 hours, the first 2 lines of what he was telling me to write keeps repeating in my head but I cannot rememmber any of the rest of what he had me write down. I can still hear the part of the melody he was playing on the piano but would not even know how to play it because I don't even know how to play an instrument. I do not know why I had such an off the wall dream and it has me kinda creeped out.

wow, i wonder if communicating with someone in a dream is the same as trying to summon the dead, which of course i would also avoid. or i wonder if prince was a symbol of something. sorry to speculate on your dream, but it sounds really interesting and important. did you consider recording audio of the part you remember?
