Prince - April 11, 1997 Los Angeles Pantages Theatre

Does anyone know where I can find this concert or tell me if it was even recorded? I've read really good reviews about it, but have not been able to find it anywhere.

I was at that show!! I believe he played Holy River if I remember correctly and encored with Johnny.

Is that the same show? It was Jam of the Year Tour, right?

All this shows were recorded, technically. He probably had copies of everything. You can't really solicit for that sort of thing here. However, I've never seen it but I have seen other JOTY shows. I think I still have the Philadelphia show on VHS.

I was at that show. I waited outside all night to buy a ticket only to be told in the morning they were passing out wristbands with random numbers. I got in, but the wristband thing sucked because I was tenth in line and had been there all night the evening before!

No, Jam of the Year Tour began in July 1997. This show was Love 4 One Another Charities Tour 1997. I read that this show was supposed to be cancelled due to Prince not feeling well, but he decided to play anyways, but regardless it was a really good show. smile

So I can't ask people where they saw the show if they saw it online somewhere? I'm just wanting clarification because I don't want my account being deleted for breaking the org rules haha. smile

You can totally ask if it's out, or been leaked, or talk about it in general. But you asked where you could find it. That's technically soliticiting, so I'd stray away from that specifically. We talk plenty about bootlegs around here, and we all have our favorites. I do enjoy my Philly show of that tour, although I've not watched it in a while.
