There were three comics released. One other is 3 Chains O' Gold. I had two, lost both, and now I think I just have the firstone noted here. .

There were three Prince comicbooks,
1.Rock n Roll Comics #21 by Revolutionary Comics Jan 1991. A Prince biography told up to Graphiti Bridge time period.
2. Prince, 1991 DC's Piranha Press. (the Brian Bolland cover is easily the best thing about this book)
3. Prince and the New Power Generation- Three Chains Of Gold , 1994 DC's Piranha Press. Interesting for Mayte and the npg apperances.
Thats it as far as I know.

I just read this one- Prince: AlterEgo, kinda like GB. My favorite is Prince kicking people with those heels. If you think about it, heels can do hella damage to your alter-ego enemies. It was amusing his alter-ego is named Gemini. Prince would never be so "not creative" so I doubt he had much story input. But this comic is where the comics in his Princetagram are from. So I wondered if maybe he did in fact have something to do with the story. I imagine he created under more names than we know. I haven't read the other two yet. Surprise, surprise.

This comic is one of the last pieces of Prince merchandise I purchased whilst he was still alive. It arrived around the 27th March, I won it a few days earlier for just £7.

I have those two (Alter Ego and Three Chains of Gold). That third one is unauthorised but there are even more Prince comics out there. There´s an old one that looked a bit like a Marvel comic, and then there are some really interesting newer ones, like this one from 2013 " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?" | |

I have the alter ego comic, a friend very kindly offered it me as he said he had two copies. I love the story and art, Prince is so badass in it lol | |
