I think we need some humor back in this place actually. Prince would probably have wanted it that way. I think it is a great list. I loved the Gold Experience, so I would probably leave Gold off the list too. But it is pretty cheesy if you just listen to it by itself. I would add FixurLifeup and Arms of Orion.

Yeah, even in concert (4 times in 2 nights), 2Y2D and FixUrLifeUp were AWFUL. So was Cause & Effect. I understand playing songs we've never heard (we used to love that about him) -- but these weren't worthy of Prince. He has so many other great guitar tracks that nobody would have ever missed hearing them.

Arms of Orion is terrible. Can't believe that made the album over "I Love U In Me" -- which made my "very best" of list.

I skip it everytime it comes up on iTunes. Just like I skip "Purple Rain," "Let's Go Crazy," and "Kiss." I've heard them too many times. I'd much rather hear something else by him -- as long as Tony M isn't on it -- or it's on my worst of list.

Out of all of those tracks -- the only ones I have in iTunes are "Return of the Bump Squad," "Mashed Potato Girl," "Big Fun" and "The Exodus Has Begun." I could care less about the rest. "Get Wild" is awful compared to the version on the boot "Glam Slam West." "The Good Life" is terrible. "The Good Life (Big City Mix)" is not, but it is also not on the album. Not a fan of Sonny's voice, so yeah. Not a lot from "Exodus" from me.

And if those songs were any good, Prince would have played them live more than a handlful of times in the last 21 years. Most of the times that he played them were right before/after the release. Same with everything from Newpower Soul other than "The One." And zip from the first NPG release. "Gold Nigga" and "Call the Law" were played (as far as I know) in 92? "Black MF In The House" in 93. Never again.

So yeah. Those records (overall) are awful. This is why WB said no so many times to Prince, and why what was released suffered in comparison after he left WB. Prince no longer had anyone around him to say "No."

What's wrong with Letitgo and Strollin?

Letitgo just sounded horribly dated and corny, even when it was released in 93. It was around the time Prince started to sound like he was playing catch-up and is one of the weakest single releases of his career imo.

I would also add Fall In Love 2nite to my list of wack Prince singles.
