I was just wondering, was the Piano and Microphone CD that was made, was that to promote the show - was it a press release - or was it for a give away. It seems there were 500 made but some say 2nd edition. Can someone tell me about this? Also, it seems they were only given/sold? in Europe? Can someone please enlighten me on this matter. SOMEDAY - I would like to see the estate

Who will release? Whom would we fans even "TRUST" at this time to even to come close to what he'd find acceptable. Who can speak for this man and his work? Is Josh Welton the closest or the most recent collabo that may know where he was going.? 3rd Eye Girl? They have been MIA as far as i can see since this all happened.

So let me get this straight - this "Prince Piano and Microphone Gala Event" happened? but then was secretly recorded and made into 500 cds (the # isn't even real?) So this is all a mirage? So my next question I pose to you - do you think Prince recorded this concert - as he has done in the past and put it in the vault - and maybe the estate will release this as an album? Is this a real set list (as listed on P&M Gala) and is it the same set list for the other Piano and Mic shows before April 21?

Anyone on ebay looking at something that is supposedly rare by Prince -- should be very suspicious about whether or not it is official/not a bootleg. ebay is rampant right now with CDrs of releases that were never released on CD. Rampant with bootlegs listed as "promo" or "rare" or "limited edition."

I am sorry you feel that you are repeating yourself, but because I do not know as much as you about all albums released, I almost bought a bootleg. I am glad I didn't. And I didn't because I asked questions of those that know more than I and you were so gracious to answer them and educate me. So thank you. Peace.

ALthough I am familiar with many bootlegs and I do not search ebay that much but I have been using the report this item button. That is the best way to get the bootlegs off ebay. If you see a bootleg report it. Many newer fans are not familiar with the digital only recordings.

This is a good idea..... that way people can make an informed decision - but then again, I guess googling it would help too?

They have info on all the official releases.
