AMP-era question

Back in the old alt.music.prince days, one of the amp-ers made a compilation called "Crystal Ball 2". Does anyone remember the tracklisting for it? It was a cool fan-made compilation.

Was it made from the poll they did at the celebration?

Not dead, not in prison, still funkin'...

Nah, it was basically a compilation of stuff that was circulating at the time, but put together like the official release. There wasn't anything on there that was rare, but it was put together really nicely.

I think Thunderfunk is referring to something legitimate. At one of the celebrations (the first?), fans were asked what they would want to have on CB2. I seem to recall computers (iMacs) being set up for fans to answer those questions, either by selecting a preset list of songs, or typing in their own.

There's no doubt a fan made their own compilation (hopefully it wasn't Liberation's real-audio streaming quality crap). But it would have been nice to see an officla release.

Nah, the dude that made it was named Dolphin, I think. He used stuff from some of the Moonraker and Thunderball comps that were out at the time.

You're right. Crystal Ball 2 was a thing by Dolphin. Incidentally, Dolphin had a Love symbol tattoo around his navel. Dunno why I remember that, but.
