Also, a case in point, is me personally!! I have health problems of my own to worry about now at this point in time, and if that doesnt take first precedent in my life, then I wont be around to listen to his music, which is his lifetime legacy, that he left for us to enjoy FOREVER!!!

I wish you well,PurpleSpirit. I am feeling better than I did. Still sad for his loss, but watching him and listening to him most days, and enjoying his music as I always did, and I even danced a little bit to Mountains the other day. He will always be with me, and always part of my life. I am thankful that I grew up with him, for me he will never be surpassed and it has been a privilege to be of his generation. I am actually glad there is less about him in the media, I found the overload to be very stressful at such an upsetting time. For those who weren't fans his death will have been insignificant. There are many artists who have passed away about whom I have had little thought. That's not to disrespect them, but they just had no place in my life so emotionally I was unmoved beyond feeling sorry for their fans and close ones. Also not everyone is into music, sad as that is. I have friends who have never bothered with following an artist, never listen to music or buy it. Their loss, obviously. The world is moving on, but millions of people will never forget him, I like to think we all played our part in his life and journey, no matter how small.

Let's be honest with no will, he left a a bit of a mess and we'll see how all of that enfolds in the coming years. Not to mention the possibility of people writing books, doing interviews where they tell their side of their story and where Prince may not be shown in the best possible light. Things might get messy and you might wish things would be as calm as they are right now. Love is God,

Indeed he could...so aint nothing coming out. Which may include the autopsy results sadly. We may never know.

I don't give a sh*t about the world's attention. He rarely got the level of world attention that his talent warranted anyway, so what's new? He'll always have a place in my heart, and I don't think the Org is going anywhere soon. His legacy will always be the music, not the number of column inches dedicated to speculation, sentiment (much of it empty and self serving), rumour and lies.

On the tv side of it we usually get a breakdown of biggest fans for this musician or that musician or celeb from time to time.I think once the autopsy report finally comes out they will start having fan, family and friend sitdown segments prob on gma,today,20/20 about prince. When i do i will contact the moderator and give her the BD of what they're seeking if its ok when the time comes.Maybe they will dedicate a segment to the org fam They may even fly people in .

We may never know. possibly. the sheriff (the one who stayed with him) said they would leave no stone unturned and that the public will know what happened. looked like he was fighting back tears as he said that. i trust him to do right by prince and all the fams who want answers. that is a lot to ask of him but i think he will deliver. i get a good vibe from him. U R right. we should not need the ok of the world to affirm his awesomeness, and as many have said, much of the world dissed him when he was here. i just felt some sadness at the idea that for so many, he so quickly faded into the past. like the world just doesn't care.then again, the world is a harsh place, as we are often reminded. I hated seeing the news about him - I avoided it as much as possible, still don't like seeing the death date & when he is back in the news, it'll be something shitty like the autopsy results, or bickering over his assets. I hate all this, I don't need the empty attention from the masses for him, it does nothing but make me sad.

I knew he would be forgotten. THis is why I didnt buy all the boo hoo bullshit right after he left. It was a bunch of people talking about Purple Rain who didnt really know or care about his career or the unparalleled body of work that he gave us.
I wouldn't be surprised if any of the vault material gets released and turns out to be the best stuff he ever did but gets ignored by anyone except the loyal fanbase. It is the state of the world unfortunately Save America - Stop Illegal Immigration. God bless America. PEACE

I am kind of glad the media attention has died down because it was so distressing and cruel at times, and I will be glad when can have him back to ourselves (with any new fans that come along here) and discuss his music and talents within the group as always. I have cried everyday since his passing and I have come to realise I do need to settle down and get on with trying to be normal again (whatever that is) but I realise it is going to be hard not to cry at certain songs etc. A friend of mine said to me "Prince was an important part of your life, it is OK to grieve, he deserves it" but I know the world has moved on and I cant be stuck in this grief cycle. I say that now as I feel a little happier today, but tomorrow I may be back to square one - I tend to swing alot between the grief and normal and I guess that is to be expected to. Thank you Prince for every note you left behind 💜

Whilst I agree with much of what you have said I do think the world did at least know how talented he was while he was alive. He toured the world to packed venues. I don't know what part of the world youre in but outside of the States the man was appreciated and acknowledged. Even if they weren't hardcore fans people bought tickets to his shows because they KNEW they would get a fantastic experience. Yes the media attention has died down, it was bound to. It has died down for Bowie as well. However we still miss him and it's a daily thing for us. Baby, you're a star.

To me, anyway, it is unrealistic to think that the news of a death of ANY major star, albeit music, film, or otherwise would warrant constant wall-to-wall 24/7 news coverage for weeks or even months or years on end!! I mean, are we still getting constant coverage on the death of Michael Jackson since his passing in 2009?? No we are not!! Are we still getting constant coverage on David Bowie?? No we are not!! So, it is inconceivable that we are gonna get constant 24/7 wall-to-wall coverage of Princes passing!! The news media has other important world events to cover(like Obamas' historic state visit to Japan to heal the wounds of Hiroshima, for example). Life, eventually, has to return back to normal!!

Why are u packing all your Prince memorabilia and stuff away just because he has died?? I am not and I am sure millions of other fans are not doing that!! In fact you should see my place right now!! I have so much Prince stuff lying around(magazines, Cds, books, posters, etc.), and everything will continue to be "out in the open" in my place, not relegated to boxes in a closet!! I am still listening to his music(the only REAL HONEST TRUE way to remember him and to carry on his legacy in my opinion), will still continue to collect stuff, download music and live the Purple Life, only in a different way!!! It was August 1985, and Raspberry Beret had just stalled at #25 on the U.K Charts. Madonna held both of the top 2 slots with Into The Groove & Holiday, while such luminaries as Princess (I kid you not), Amazulu and Five Star were charting much higher than Prince. And this was 1985, when Prince was supposed to be God. It was that very week that I decided it didn't really matter to me if I was the only person on earth who knew how good he was...at least I knew.
