Is this for real?

Too bad these items (if they really belonged to P) are not sent to PP since for a museum display to be enjoyed by the public - that is, IF PP ever opens to the public. This makes me sad, seeing his things auctioned off so soon after he left us.

Your link is bad. http://www.accessoriesmag...ng-auction (DNS unable to resolve on your link)

Regardless, here's the actual link that matters http://profilesinhistory.com/

I'm guessing they are real. Folks are going to come out of the woodwork to sell their shit. Mayte did it before Prince passed. It happens all of the time.

Don't worry. There will be enough great material if a museum is ever opened.

Buy it for who, exactly? Auctions are meant to do two things: Get rid of things that might otherwise just sit around, and create a cash flow. Elvis's estate has a vast storage facility where things are put away, with great care. But MJ's estate was sold off. Sometimes, you just don't need all that stuff sitting around. MJ doesn't have a museum (and knowing how the Jackson family handles things, it'd be a freakin' disaster from day one anyway). If Paisley Park is turned into a museum, then there is still plenty outside this auction to show.

.

As a side note: The Lake Minnetonka outfit he wore used to hang in the Planet Hollywood in the Mall of America. I seens it wif my own eyes.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Thanks for fixing it for me, suomynona.

They really should have waited at least 6 months for "due diligence" in finding a will, even his own "wishlist." They're moving way too fast!
