too many, but i always loved the purple rain live performance of baby i'm a star/i would die for you. It's not spoken of often but he couldn't dance very well just 3 short years before this.

Totally - he definitely made a conscious decision to learn how to dance, and got better and better in the mid-80s. Hard to imagine the Prince of the Dirty Mind tour pulling off the moves during Housequake in the SOTT film.

I *love* the dancing in the Parade/SOTT era. And the whole band had their choreography too - even Matt and Lisa/ Boni.

Always found the Game Boyz a bit creepy. Like their moves were one step away from a synchronised sexual assault on Prince.

Does anyone know when he stopped dancing.

I'm sure it wasn't his best, but he danced pretty well during his Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame induction performance. And he busted a few moves during the Super Bowl performance too.

My mostest favorite is the wooden leg dance the crew does w/ P after chopping down the Oak Tree during Love Bizarre .

As far as moves go, it doesn't hold up to his best splits or the excitement of the PR era shows, but when he injected humor into his game it was quite endearing. Love it.

Awesome. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall while P and Jerome kicked it for one night. Those two together were pretty great. Sheila was havin a blast, too. O, man, just talkin about all this gets me all...thanks, Prince. Heart hug.

Also, a short one from the '87 Warm Up Show - "put your foot up on your neighbor" .

These are great. I love to watch Prince dance. I think I like his dancing on Arsenio. It was the way he moved!!!!!

He didn't really. Just less of it. He did an amazing double spin and got down heavily at the Roundhouse shows in 2014. From what I've seen, he was rocking some steps at his final piano show

& to think - all this happened MINUTES away from me!!!! I was just too young to participate Out of all the ones you guys have posted, this was my fave - he was just loose & feelin' it & having a blast, TOO COOL in that era!!! Plus the pants were soooo tight, take that coat OFF already They're all good - when was he NOT good??!!
