Hey everybody. I just wanted to give you all an update. I saw my GP today and he put through a recommendation for grief counseling for me. He was actually quite good about it. Hopefully finding someone won't take forever. He asked me how I was doing and i started crying. Then, on the way home, I listened to Sometimes It Snows In April and cried some more.

If you listen to Prince so much then thru the years you should have come across him saying " Do not idolize me idolize Jesus"....step into a Church anyone you prefer many many good folks out there that deal with death on a daily basis...did you ever see Prince just stop everything when his parents passed? Left Eye lopes? Vanity? James Brown? And who ever else??

If listening to a sad Prince song makes you sadder why do it? On your ride home plenty of positivity speakers like a Joel Olsteen or Tony Robbins who by the way crossed paths with Prince and was at his house.

I collected all I could as far as Prince Music goes...what now? Move On & Live On because time is short here just as Prince did.

These R The Dayz of Wild so hold on2 yo' wig and move on & get out there and volunteer and help folks that need it instead of being so Soft & Wet.

If you can't say anything supportive then don't say anything at all. No one asked you to come on here slinging negitivity towards those of us who can't seem to snap out of it in a way that suits people like you. If I want to listen to a sad Prince song and cry then I will listen to a sad Prince song and cry. You have no right to dictate my grieving or to say potentially damaging words to me or anyone else on this forum that's having a rough time dealing with his death. Do yourself a favor and stop being such a sanctimonious, Self-righteous c--t or f--k off.

For those of you on this forum considering seeking professional counseling, I strongly urge you to do so. It's a brave move to make and recognizing when you need outside help is really the first step in the process of healing. Remember, no one experiences grief and bervaement the same way. The best support some one can offer is to simply listen. The hardest part in going through the counseling process is finding a professional therpaist who you feel comfortable with. But you'll know right of the bat. If you don't click during your first session, move on and look for another one ... don't waste your time. Good luck to all!

Oh, I am so sorry for your loss and the loss of those children. I hope you and they have the support that you need right now. I lost a very dear friend last year. My heart goes out to you. hug
