Happiest i've ever seen prince

http://www.dailymotion.co...eo/x2h2jjs This was posted on here awhile ago. But,the newbee's need to see how happy prince was after this song. And yes, tears. He was beside himself,Giving a standing O,Clapping and very happy. For those that think patti sings to loud you can turn the sound the whole way down and just watch his reaction.I want to remember him this way HAPPY.

i have watched the whole bet tribute several times,as well as his lovely acceptance speech. he was clearly moved and i am glad there were moments where the world could show him how much he was loved and appreciated.

and it was great that it was in 2010, after much of the nonprince world thought (poor ignorant souls) that his best days were behind him.

Now that's how you sing Purple Rain. They already knew who could do it justice, but they choose not to go in that direction. Their loss, I'm sure, cause I have this feeling in the pit of my stomach that the BET tribute is gonna make him real justice. I hope I'm right.

I tried to defend her but,i guess you were all right in what you were saying.I felt so bad for her though. And poor stevie came out alone and madonna reaching out her hand to him.He was emotional she had to say come on stevie. Now i thought her outfit was the shit. Some on twitter did give her props for that. But,others said 'That outfit isn't purple its lilac kiss.Maybe she should of done the floor crawl to get off lol

I remember back when this happened, thinking "Did she just make her own echo effect?" Too fantastic! I loved EVERYTHING about this. P's outfit, Patti, and - the best part - the shoe.

Now THAT was a tribute. The entire thing was amazing. If BET did this whille Prince was alive. I can't wait to see what they put together for the BET awards!

I remember when he invited Patti Labelle up onstage when he was here in Philly, during his Musicology tour. What a surprise and treat for us fans. Didn't know they even knew each other like that. biggrin
