The Purple Box Fantasy

I was just fantasizing about "The Purple Box." It would be a 30-disc boxed set; every album remastered with bonus tracks (unreleased tracks from the vault pertinent 2 each album and extended versions!) It would also include a set of amethyst gemstones in the shape of raindrops (purple raindrops!) Wouldn't that be SUMPTHIN'???!!! I mean, if Tony Bennett can get a 73-CD set, then why not Prince TOO? It might even be lined inside and out with purple felt/velvet and a beautiful hardcover accompanying book detailing every album (also felt/velvet covered) with silver pages. Okay...I'm done now. smile Hopefully, remasters/reissues 2 come very soon in his honor/memory! <3

I'd pay 300.00 maybe more for 30cds- but I would also hope videos, and maybe even the movies in BluRay- PR, UTCM, SOTT. GB

Maybe they could have different editions, a more basic one less than 300.

I've paid that much to see his concerts so- I wouldn't care. I'd just have to save money. To me, to replace my collection in one big chuck like that- I'd really appreciate it.

They can release other sets of live stuff to down the road. Or other vault outtakes.

I just want to replace messed up, misplaced/stolen CDs. At least.

There was a time (80s/90s) where I would have paid anything. As long as it's reasonably priced, I will pay. I'd prefer to have physical copies. I'm not paying a ton of money for something that I could lose in a hard drive crash.
