Very underwhelming. Almost too tasteful. I just feel like..idk. never cry for pain you know? Price was the funk and that tribute was terribly unfunky. Let this be a lesson, it's always ok to say no. She should have stopped at Nothing Compares 2 U that was okay actually...i started to cry immediately...the photos were good...still cried uncontrollably through that...the rest, in my opinion, she should have stopped after the first song...didn't need Purple Rain in there...Stevie could have played piano on Nothing Compares 2 U......she actually sang live which was nice!

As usual, she had to make at least some part of it about her with that outfit she had on. What was that in the background before they showed Prince's pics? It was not good at all. If you are not going to let anyone else take part in a tribute, you better be damned good. And she wasn't. | |

The only time I was really moved was during the montage when they showed pictures of Prince because I was reminded once again that he was truly the greatest. I teared up then but overall I thought the performance was cool. Not amazing but it was decent. Madonna did fine and Stevie was Stevie. I enjoyed it for the most part but I can see why some are underwhelmed. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ
