Amazon has Sign O' The Times on blue ray now--it's supposed to be for all regions. I had already bought the remastered Canadian DVD a few years ago; well worth it. In June, I'm going to see the movie on the big screen for the first time. wink

I already owned it on Vinyl, tape and CD, but bought the re-relase of 'Controversy' on vinyl in the uk for £15.99. So I really spent that for a poster of a near naked man in the shower.

We all like it. I hate the artwork though, the new font for 'Prince' is horrible.

All of the Tidal exclusives in Flac, except for Purple Rain EP. I'm not paying $20 for God 12" Instrumental unless I'm getting a physical copy. It also makes sense that it might be one of the things the trust/estate allows WB to release in a future box set.

I ordered HNRPhase2 & the tourbook from Funk4U, but the Bremer Trust is delaying fulfilling orders until they do a complete audit of what's laying around.

As for the rest, thankfully I have almost everything I want.

Folks should wait on buying stuff like that SOTT blu-ray until they are reviewed. It could just be sourced from the vhs or laserdisc.

It is possible that the trust/estate will be extremely greedy and finally allow everything to be remastered, including the SOTT film.

Then all of us will have to get a 2nd job just so we can replace our Prince collection. I'm not even buying the current "new" vinyl releases because we should expect that they will be remastered. Or the estate/trust could respect Prince's wishes and never remaster or release anything.

We'll see. I could give two fucks about how he died -- doesn't change things. Prince is still dead. What I want to know is the intentions of those in charge.

I got an Irish 7" pressing of When Doves Cry and the NPG Recors first issue release of Hitnrun Phase Two on CD (with the complete lyrics). I also have the Australian version of The Very Best Of Prince with the messed up sleeve on the way.
