Different interpretations of songs

I was wondering if people could post different ways of interpreting various Prince songs. He often wrote with abstract concepts in mind.

Many of you would already have seen this song from this perspective, but I'll start things off with "Right Back Here in My Arms"... fitting into the Emancipation theme, in the chorus he's singing about his records and getting his songs back in his arms. In the verse, he's singing to the record company (don't want you to write me no letters - from the lawyer). The whole song makes sense from this anti-record label pro-owning his music perspective and it gives more reason for him to choose it as the #2 song on a 36-song album.

Any others?

"Dolphin" was a song written for an intended movie reboot of Flipper.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

In that respect, could Wasted Kisses be directed at WB?
