Prince and kids There aren't many pics of Prince interacting with kids. I'm just wondering how he was with kids. Did he enjoy being around kids? Pictures are welcome | |

One of my favorite things is the shot of him on Leno shaking the hands of the two little Canadian girls and they look miserable. They're like "who IS this guy?!"  | |

Be great to hear from some of those now grown up kids. Him not having any surviving children of his own is kind of sad. It happens though. |

Often he would invite my then-wife, Kris, and our daughter, Eva, to come along and hang out with everyone in L.A., Minneapolis, or NYC, wherever we were working at the time. As I remember it, Kris, Eva and I were at the 3121 house in L.A. one night in early 2006 or late 2005. Eva was only 3 years old at the time. Sheila E. and a group of us were having dinner together with Prince. Sheila was always such a lovely person to be around. She has such a caring and generous spirit. There was a photo shoot going on that night in one of the rooms, and Sheila took Eva back there to show her what was going on. Sheila got her in front of the camera and snapped this darling picture of Eva that I have up on my wall, pen marks and all. Later, we were at the main dining room table finishing our dinner. To give us a break from our darling toddler, Prince took Eva down to the hair salon to show her what it was all about. Yes, there was a hair salon in the house. Of course there was a hair salon in the house. A few minutes later we hear them whispering in the hallway, and all-of-a-sudden, Eva comes running out in to the dining room with a wig on her head with hair down to her knees! She proceeded to run around the dining room table like a little Cousin It from the Addams Family while everyone just hollered with laughter. I could tell she had been prompted to put on this little show by Prince, as he laughed from the hallway. Prince was always great around kids. I saw a lot of children of employees, friends and family come around from time-to-time, and he would always have a smile and kind words to share. I'm grateful my daughter got to know him a little bit, and I'll always cherish this memory with a big smile. Sheila E. " | |

Can someone fill me in on what's going here? What's the context? Seems as if he's praying for their itty bitty souls, which isn't a bad thing, of course, but that's probably isn't what's happening. I'm not familiar with this photo. | |

The last person Prince ever had on the stage dancing was my 9yr old son in Sydney. He was extremely playful and LOVED having him up there. https://mynameisanzac.com/2016/02/24/prince-literally-pulled-me-up-on-stage-to-dance-to-kiss/
