Yesterday, I went and got myself inked: Prince said: 'Do I have a friend tonight?'

I wish I were there to say, hell ya!

But I say it now.

Wrote a song for him (celebrating love and sex, as he did; I hope he likes it) and the tattoo is symbolic - based on his amazing song She Gave Her Angels ... that summer night. There's a moon for that summer night and an angel face. He made me love love.

Please share! I actually just posted in another thread that I go in for my second session for mine on his birthday. It's pretty big, gonna take another 2-3 sessions total probably. I almost posted a pic to share with you all but it's not filled in yet, just the outline. I've seen some pretty creative ones lately, I love it! I'm so impatient so waiting in between sessions is even more torture than getting it done! Lol

Mine did turn out to be the 10th. I don't know how to post photos. I have tried to put it as a profile pic and am awaiting mod's approval (not sure will get it because it is in the small of my back!).

I just wanted it to reflect Prince: simplicity, depth, poetry and humanness. I feel I achieved it through the symbolism.

Yep, I do feel mods should allow it. Prince was all about body and expression! And so are we.
