Use to hear "Soft And Wet" on the radio all the time when I was 11, 12. But didn't really "appreciate" his music until the seocnd album ("Prince"). I remember in 7th grade, me and my classmate Elizabeth singing Still Waiting at recess using our pencils as makeshift microphones

Just turned 43 (lawd) Prince has been in my world since I was 9 years old.. I was lucky enough to have MTV so I got into him during the 1999 period when they started to play his videos. Then of course Purple Rain - Parade / SOTT. It was over for me from there. He will always be in my heart and soul!! I am so happy to see the varying age groups I love that a lot of Prince fam on here are close to my age! And I love the younger kids on here, makes me happy!
