simply because it is way too short. I would love this
song with extended jamming and some more verses of
dark depressed Prince musings.


Peach

He often plays it live with many shift in tempo, many
breaks and alternate lyrics and stuff. Usually clocks
in at around 6 or 7 mins. Celebration version was 10+
mins. One of those songs that sound much more alive &
better in concert. If he could capture that vibe in a
7 or 8 minute studio version, it would be ACE.


Dance On

Always feel like that could have done with some extra
bits here and there. It's such a thumping song. And it
does sound like it could go on into another vibe after
that "what color is your money today" chant.

I don't know what to say about this. All I can say is
that I wish it would never stop.

Oh for fuck sake, just extend the entire album man. Give
me a 40 minute take on "New Position/I Wonder U" and I'll
be a good little girl.

This is what was cool about 1999; every song was given its full treatment and an "extended" version just means the album version. Exodus took it's time on a lot of tracks too...
