Why is purple rain the song most associated with Prince? Was it because it was the popularity of the film? Was it because of his emotional singing? What's your thoughts on why purple rain being the song most people think of when they think of Prince? Was it just a song that created the perfect storm? | |

Beacause he won an Oscar for that song and made a film named 'Purple Rain.'
That's not my favorite Prince song though.
