Letter-writing campaign to Sirius' Scott Greenstein

Now that "The Groove" is back to regular programming, THIS IS the time to really start hitting SiriusXM's President & Chief Content Officer, Scott Greenstein with letters, staing your desire for a permanent Prince Channel.

I will be writing a second letter this weekend.

There is a Change.org petition derected at Mr. Greenstein. Even though I am the person who began directing at Mr. Greenstein, I fully support any and all petitions. HOWEVER, actual letters are the BEST demonstration of your seriousness. An online petition can be done, at whim. But executives hold actual letters with more weight. It shows that you took the time to sit down and flesh out your feelings and desire. And it shows that you believe so strongly, that you would invest in the price of a stamp and the time it takes to take your letter to a mailbox, ot the post office. Finally, there is NOTHING like the visual of a few thousand letters being dumped on the president's desk.

Write to:

Scott Greenstein
President & Chief Content Officer

SiriusXM Radio

1221 Avenue Of The Americas

New York, NY 10020

Got a link to the change.org petition? I too wouldn't mind having a permenant Prince channel in the SiriusXM line up. They can keep all the joints that they loaded into The Groove for those few weeks and I'll be just fine.

It would be up to NPG Records to allow that, right?

.

What's the point?

.

They were good enough and respectful enough to do it for three weeks. Props to Sirius for that.

.

And besides, we all have massive Prince collections that we can play Prince music anytime we want.

The point is Visibility...like the Vaticans note on him & the prediction...the music / typical hits will be played for a little while- then his music will be buried....Elvis Presley been dead almost 40 years yet he is still on go in many spectrums...with your attitude the public as they do now for the most part do not know much besides Purple Rain......it is all small steps so that one day who knows...on cable all those higher numbered stations...a 24/7 Prince Video/ Music station?

Your reply of course will be what's the point you already have or have seen everything.....On a constant basis Elvis Presley is exposed to younger folks.....with your mindset you are the only one that matters and really don't care about showing folks in the years to come what Prince could do....I know " What's the point?"......general public has that same attitude....so it looks like Elvis will continue to roll and live on...Prince will not so what's the point.

I signed the online petition. Sure I have tons of Prince music of my own, but I think it would be another small way to honor Prince. He is truly deserving.

Re-read those lines that you wrote above.

.

Sirius radio? You don't see that you're barking up the wrong tree? You think Sirius is the cause of all that above? Uhh, was it Sirius that removes all things Prince from youtube or was that someone else?

.

Prince on youtube solves all the problems you pose up above. People here are already posting that Prince videos are once again be removed from youtube. But you think Sirius is the one that is burying Prince music from the public, from the younger folks.

Nobody is forcing anyone to write, or sign a petition. If you want to, great. If not, fine.

Does not matter if it is Sirus radio or putting Prince music on Pee Wee Herman shows...now you re- read the very 1st word= VISIBILITY.

Why does this matter?

If I want to listen to Prince, I have my own collection.

Cool
Same thing with Springsteen and pearl Jam. They have less material, yet a channel to themselves ok?

If they want me as a member they'll need this station.

Otherwise I'll keep wasting space in my car for CDs and risk scratching them every time I cart them around.

Geez.
No matter the ©️, Paisley Park "official can never ™️ prince. He gave that to us verbally on Oprah in 1996. You can't take prince away from us, corporate. I mean O ( + >

All of these things will help. I also have all my own CDs, but having this channel on Sirius is important. It should have been done years ago.

If you also want to email Scott Greenstein, his email is: Scott.Greenstein@siriusxm.com

Please continue to send your letters, tweets, emails, sign petitions, etc., to SiriusXM. They are still being inundated with requests to restore the Prince channel.

With the autopsy results being released sad this week, as well as his birthday (born day) on June 7th, Prince has been constantly in the news again and the outcry for this channel to be restored is still there.

I'm still hopeful and plan to continue to contact SiriusXM. Hope you will, too! smile

I hope people are still contacting SiriusXM about adding the Prince channel. They're even adding a Garth Brooks channel:

Who would run this channel since P obviously isn't here? Who runs Sinatra's channel?

Download to digital for your car. Keep the CDs at home.

I just plug my iPod into any of our cars and have my own symphony.

TIP: ANY music you've ever purchased from Amazon.com will show up on your phone or other device if you download the Amazon Music App. Then, you can set that to transfer it to your iPod or other system for your own custom playlists.

Just don't delete the music from your computer or iTunes won't find it for your iPod. (Luckily, I was able to restore it all from trash bin LOL).

Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.
