Did anyone attend Prince's last show at PP? I can't find anything on this topic in the threads - anybody? What was it like? What songs did he play? What did he say? How did he look?

Prince looked good but was a little more laid back than usual. He played chopsticks on the piano, we laughed and loved it. Due to the outpouring of concern and get wells after his emergency landing, Prince said something like..'next time wait a few days.' The way he said it made me feel that lots of people had read about or mentioned his recent emergency landing, and I think he was just saying that we should give him a few days to recouperate before pouring out all the get wells and God Bless You's. He didn't sound to me like he thought he was leaving anytime soon. He did look a bit tired but his presence brought joy to so many faces. It seemed to be a low key night at the Park but it was kind of nice that way. Fans were hanging out, dancing the nite away anyway to DJ Funktress. Going to PP never got old no matter how many times or different groups, Paisley Park was Prince's house and it always felt like a honor to be able to enter his house/studio as friends and fas.
Even at times when not much was happening while at PP, it was still a thrill just to be there imo. To be in the same room with Prince was more than I ever imagined, he was Music and Magic, we felt it whenever he was around. That nite especially because it felt like he came out to reassure us that he was doing okay, so that we could release our fears. We danced and laughed, happy our Prince was back
We left happy, ready to meet up again at PP at the first word of something going on. RIP Prince 2Gether 4Ever

I'm gutted that suddenly its all over. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

That's really cool you guys got to visit there, and more than once it sounds like. How did you even get on the invite list? I live near Chicago but would've easily made the trip to hangout at PP.

Thank you so much sharing me how the night was - you are so blessed to have been there and it sounds like you have been there before. From a far away (fan) friend, I really wish I was there too! Did he play perform at all - besides chopsticks(cute) I mean? How long did he stay? Thanks again for sharing. It means a lot.

I find it ironic that the most mysterious and one of the most reclusive musicians in rock history would open up his place like that all the time. Not really charging a lot of the time and seemingly, not really screening people really well. I only wish I could have been around there to attend at some point. Like I say, strange, I've never heard of Elvis opening up graceland to sing to people or michael performing for people at neverland.

He didn't necessarily always perform, especially these last min dance parties, after parties, etc. The wknd I was there for an album release party last Sept he didn't perform any of the 3 nights in a row he opened PP up to the public for live music and dancing (other than about 10 seconds on guitar the 2nd nite). Of course you hope but you knew better than to count on it. He was there tho either moving about behind the stage areas, walking quickly thru the crowd, watching from his private viewing area up the stairs, or pedaling around the parking lot late in the evening. Still loads of fun and cool being a part of his little universe for a bit. Truly going to miss this. Hurts my heart knowing it's never going to be again.
