Prince - "Slave Trade" Doc So I'm finally watching this from the beginning and one really interesting point that it raises re Prince, the warner brothers deal, and his eventual disillusionment with the whole thing is his fascination with having a contract with a high monetary value and then getting the contact and ultimately realizing that it wasn't what it was cracked up to be (sales figure stipulations, for example). It kind of makes a lot of his later actions appear incredibly bratty and even selfish. Apparently he was made corporate vp and all this stuff and ultimately after all these years in the game he realizes that hey masters are an important thing to have?
Something about that is odd to me. Anyone that's seen this film have any thoughts? [Edited 5/18/16 17:30pm] "Where you are now is in a place that does not require time." - Rest In Power, PRINCE | |
