I thought I'd post this here hoping someone with connections to journalists or audio interviews with Prince could possibly help blankonblank.org - they are specifically asking for Prince material. It would be cool to see this happen, I think he would have dug it.

Good luck with that. There won't be many, if any.

He didn't allow journalists to record him for interviews, not in the second half of his career anyway.

Prince gave up to 10 radio interviews on April 19, 2004 to promote the Musicology album and tour to Donnie Simpson, Doug Banks, Steve Harvey, Russ Parr and Tom Joyner to name a few. I'm been looking for these interviews for years.

I did post a download-link here on the org a couple years ago, and received warning from the mods for doing so. I thought it was ok because it was just an interview, no music, but the mods were strict.

I had a CD of an inerview he did a long time ago during the Dirty Mind Tour. I would like to find that one. It was interesting.

i think i had that for a while too. I recall he was talking about how some thought the one man band thing was a lie...but I also think i remember him fibbing about his age and his ethic background
