To write a book. Something I said he would never do. But for his death, I'm pretty sure I was wrong.

Grow old and write a book about his life. Teach. I bet he would of been an incredible teacher. I'm sure he is giving one hell of a class in the heavens (no puns intended here).

2 things - kinda related...
I always thought that a Scottish promoter should have done one of 2 things:
1 - organised a gig in Barshaw Park. Prince...at a park...in Paisley - what's not to love about that? 2 - organised a gig at Edinburgh Castle. The promotion writes itself.

Collaborated with someone over 25 who he couldn't straight up control. [Edited 5/16/16 7:25am]

Open up his own school of music. I agree he would have made a great teacher but very strict. He revealed on Arsenio's Show that if he wasn't a recording artist he would be a teacher,

Why do I never meet someone who wanted another Prince movie? Save America - Stop Illegal Immigration. God bless America. PEACE

I always wanted to be at a show where he played When You Were Mine. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Co-sign that one actually...

I was anticipating more shows from this tour. Felt like he was on the verge of something fresh not only musically but in several areas of his life and now we're just left with "what ifs"

i consider myself lucky I saw him play When You Were Mine on two separate occasions... Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad? would be the one I'm sorry I missed never saw...awesome track and some of those early 80s bootlegs demonstrate it was even more remarkable (if that's possible) live!

This, most definitely. At least I was able to fulfill my dream of seeing him in a small club performing Something In The Water... "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

for us and him, to grow old with grace and share that experience through his music. and for his sake, have/adopt a kid. "If u love somebody, your life won't be in vain
And there's always a rainbow, at the end of every rain."--peace and love, dear prince.....

I always hoped he'd collaborate with Sade. Style is not biting style when U can't find the funk

That's not really what I meant. I was thinking more like what Paul Simon or Ry Cooder did: make a whole album in those genres with local musicians and in the mean time give the music from those countries international exposure. Prince surely had the talent to do this. I remember he once said his assistent was from Ethiopia and the music there sounds so different from everything else. It does and that got me thinking: what if those two musical worlds were combined? It would lead to so many new discoveries! Sure, Prince's perfectionist control freak nature would have clashed with TIA (This Is Africa), but that only would've made it more fascinating! [Edited 5/16/16 11:05am]
