Interesting Prince Interview Just saw this... https://m.youtube.com/wat...6H8rKE9ydU Larry Graham is seen to roll his eyes at one point - not sure why. But it's a look at Prince when he seems quite natural, but a bit hyper maybe.

He seemed very quick witted. Most people who are high don't think of their feet as quickly as he did in this interview.

Look at his interviews and go back and look at Vanity's interviews in the 80s.

I just watched this before bed last night. It was pretty funny. . The eye roll is conjecture. Prince's humor was on point, though. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Looks to me like it's been intentionally edited that way.

Funny and a bit of a smart ass. Enjoyed watching him in this mood. He liked being in London.

I'm not implying anything with this next statement but... People really have stereotypical views on how people act when "on drugs". The thing is, everyone is different which is why experimenting is so dangerous. I know people who take typically "speedy" things but it makes them sleepy. Some people who take depressants get energized. Some weed strains make you lethargic, others can make you clean your whole house. I would leave the comments of "he appears high" out of it. He may have just been in a really great mood. I honestly don't think he took anything to alter his consciousness. He was just naturally on another level. Surprise, surprise.
Another treat. Another trick.

I've had days when people think I'm on something - I'm not a drug user by the way, unless it's prescribed by my GP. Some days I'm just high on life.

He was especially arrogant during most of the NPS era interviews for some reason, pretty funny stuff, but definitely out of character for Prince during interviews imo. Maybe its just when dudes from this time period interviewed him because he would never be this way with a woman interviewer. I don't see anything odd. It just makes me remember how much I liked the Come On video. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

Agreed...but I will add that people with a certain drug dependency take that drug to feel normal and be able to function, not get high .

I think this is probably the case - just going by the fact that he was such a highly sensitive person. It makes sense to me that he could get on "a natural high" without drugs.
